As Chairman of the Regional Organized Crime Information Center (ROCIC) Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you to the ROCIC Membership Information Sharing and Training Conference. This is ROCIC’s 24rd Annual Homicide Conference and will include the same quality presentations you have come to expect through the years. The Chattanooga Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, as well as the staff of ROCIC have worked diligently to make sure this training conference is a success.

During this conference, ROCIC will be offering several opportunities to network with fellow officers in attendance from across our 14 state region. Making contacts is the most effective way to ensure success in your future cases through information sharing. I encourage you to make the most of your time here by actively participating in the State Intelligence Meetings and networking opportunities.

The Board of Directors and ROCIC staff are available to assist you in any way during the conference. I look forward to meeting you and know you will benefit from attending.

On behalf of the ROCIC Board of Director’s and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to ROCIC’s 24rd Annual Homicide Conference. I would like to extend my thanks to the Chattanooga Police Department, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office of the 11th Judicial District for serving as our conference co-hosts. Without their assistance and hard work, our conference would not be possible.

ROCIC has assembled an excellent agenda for this year’s Homicide conference. As an attendee, you will benefit from excellent speakers and topics that are relevant to your investigations and communities. A full agenda complete with course descriptions and speaker bios is available on the conference website. You can view it from any computer or mobile device at your convenience.

I encourage you to network with your fellow attendees and exchange contact information. We have set aside time for you to share case information with other officers and also time to just get to know each other. In addition, we have several vendors available to inform you about products that would be helpful in your day to day duties.
